My dear friend. I can totally understand your pain. I have a similar situation, except he hasn't proposed. We are off and on because he was married before and is afraid of making a mistake. It is crushing. I've never been married, and I was so ready, and this is the first guy I've dated that I really wanted to marry.
Psalm 20 has really been one of my prayers.
"LORD, send HELP from Your sanctuary!!!"
Was there jealousy involved - it sounds like?
In my case there is. Guys just can't seem to handle conflict. I try not to, but then I get insecure, but my security is in God.
God has chosen you. HE hasn't left or forsaken you.

My boyfriend of over two years proposed to me, but a month later we had a big fight over a friend of his (female) and he has called a break saying he doesn't know if he wants to be with me. I am so confused and crushed - please pray that God will be with my ex-fiance and that I can have the strength to move on as my heart is broken.
