I have been praying so much. My entire family with the exception of one child and children live in Orlando. They are all safe and also their homes. They were without power a long time and some still are, but we as a family have a great deal to be thankful for tonight.

Here is an update from SeekingHim:
Thank you for such a nice web page. Although most of the people in the Orlando area, Tampa finally got their electric and phones back on. Some may be out until Sat. evening. As for the Fort Myers, Naples and Puedo Gorda, their damage is a lot more extensive.

Hi Everyone, this is CampingOnEarth,
I want to thank you for your thoughts and prayers for us here in Florida. BELIEVE ME, GOD HEARD THEM ! I live in Englewood, Fl, in the northern part of Charlotte County. Hurricane Charley's eye passed by about 15-25 miles south of us, we got some strong winds and rain that did some damage but nothing as bad as you've seen on TV probably. We are right on the edge of the really bad stuff. God protected me and has been a constant comfort and guide through the hurricane and it's aftermath. Instead of going to worship on Sabbath morning, I found myself starting a Red Cross shelter for the storm victims. God was with me and helped me to set it up and bring comfort and respite to these traumatized and displaced individuals and families.
I have not been an active member of the Red Cross chapter here, and the day after I thought I'd call into the Red Cross chapter here in Charlotte County because they might have a use for me and I guess God had a plan because I ended up opening up at a local middle school the largest shelter (and for a bit it was the Only shelter) for victims. I organized it and ran it for 2 1/2 days and nights, I had very little materials to work with and NO communication with anyone till the ham radio guys showed up. It was just one thing after another that I had to dealt with and problem solve only four hours sleep one night and three the next.
It was a crazy rollercoaster between the regular families, frail elderly who needed medical intervention, families with premature infants, restless teenagers, the deaf who had no interpreters. God sent some random doctors and nurses who showed up and kept things under control on the medical end, I was relieved when we were able to transport some residents to Sarasota to a special needs care facility. Whew!
The last few days I've been going out as part of a Red Cross damage assessment team, we were in Punta Gorda most of the time. Part of our territory was a mobile home park that was practically totally flattened, demolished. Any demolished mhp youve seen on TV pretty much looks the same as any other. This one did too. Never let anyone you love live in a trailer, that's all i can say!
School has been suspended temporarily since they have no power. Hopefully we will regain some semblance of normalcy and will continue Gods work till Jesus comes. There will still be alot of work in the months ahead to get some semblance of normal life back for these people, some who know Jesus and some who don't. Either way, His hands are around them and I know He will make all things work for good. Thanks again for your prayers and keep sending them up. :-)

Our hearts go out to our members who have been hit by Hurricane Charley. Let's all pray for those who are victims of this terrible storm.
Heavenly Father, Please be with those who have been injured or had property damage as a result of this storm. Please give them courage and strength to trust in you. Please help them to find the relief they need. Please also be with those throughout the world who have suffered through their own storms and difficulties unknown to us. Amen
