Lord,
You know how much the devil loves inactivity
when he says:
"I want you not to do what you do not want to
do"
Lord,
the devil will not encourage activity.
The devil will not encourage free will.
Lord,
the devil will not encourage patient accept-
ance of pain - whether it be physical or
emotional.
Lord,
we should be ready and willing to accept ad-
versity as well as the righteousness in us, as
well as everything in the world around us.
Lord,
where we can do what is righteous, we should.
Otherwise, why should we worry? Things will
be as they will be and we need not ever fear
it.
We will all do as we want to, anyway. This is
free will, Lord. You gave us heaven and hell
as our choosing. But the devil gives only one
choice...hell!
So now Lord, you gave us heaven and hell as our
choosing.
Lord, may we all choose righteousness and hea=
ven!
Amen.
