Nancy of Lavida Mission near Farmington, New Mexico did a
search on the Shining Star Singles List. She read my profile and then my
homepage twice. She was urged by a fellow staff member to contact me right away.
I responded to her first one paragraph e-mail to me reluctantly; I thought she
might be too old for me (7 years difference). Then we exchanged a number of
e-mail letters without romance vocabulary or implications.
Nancy made a surprise
visit to see me on the way to Texas on October 14th. The Holy Spirit guided her
to the church.
It was so easy to talk with her. She stopped on the way back on
Sunday and again the same thing happened. I visited Lavida Mission and had a
very good time. She came to visit me again on October 28th and we had a
wonderful wedding in the Bernalillo Court House with two couples and a 5
year-old boy from Lavida Mission (150 miles away) and one of my fellow workers.
Nancy and I already have an Ephesians 5 Marriage!!!
